AUDITION NOTICE
Hey actors,
Unit 102 Theatre Company and Leroy Street Theatre are holding auditions for our upcoming production of William Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing. The show will be running from June 13 – June 26 at the Majlis Art Garden in sunny downtown Toronto. We are looking for male and female actors of all ages.
If you would like to be a part of this midsummer magic, please prepare a monologue from the play. We suggest you read the play first. It can be any monologue from any character you feel you have some affinity for. Please note that the parts of Benedick and Beatrice have been cast but feel free to use one of their monologues if you like. You should also not feel restricted by gender in your choice. Basically pick anything that you like. You may also bring another monologue by Shakespeare if you are so inclined. We may ask to hear it.
