Rumour Has It:
Synopsis: Rumour Has It is a one-act comedy which asks is gossip necessarily bad? When Rachel Stern and her synagogue women's group hear an outrageous rumour about her ex-husband's fiancé, they argue about the virtue of gossip, until the fiancée herself arrives!

The play takes place in a synagogue's kitchen.
Zimmerman's Neighbourhood:
Synopsis: The play takes place in Toronto's Jewish area. A Jewish store owner is reminiscing about the history of Spadina Avenue to his nephew who tries to convince him to sell his "shmateh" store for a high real estate value. Various customers come in: the uncle deals with them most unprofessionally.
Characters: 2 men: one elderly, one 40ish and 2 women, late 60s.

Auditions: Sunday, July 21, 2019
Monday July 22, 2019.
These are "stage readings" and do not require memorizing.
Rehearsals: Maximum of 3 rehearsals per week beginning late July.
