PERFORMANCES
FEBRUARY 16 to March 4, 2023 at The Alumnae Theatre, Toronto
The Seafarer is a devilishly black comedy with overtones that blur the lines between reality and fantasy. Its characters are living dysfunctional lives which at times are laughable, infuriating, heart-rending, confusing and mysterious, but always entertaining.

LOCATION – Auditions and rehearsals will be held at The School of Practical Philosophy, 29 Madison Avenue which is one block east
of the Spadina subway station. Street parking is available.
PREPARATION – If the Director does not know your work, prepare a 2-minute monologue. Read the play before you audition as
there will be readings from the script.
SCRIPT – A copy of THE SEAFARER will be available from the Producer.
| PLEASE NOTE: Toronto Irish Players is a non-profit, non-equity community theatre group. We do not pay actors for performances nor do we cast ACTRA/Equity members. If cast you must join our group. Membership fees of $25 are due at the first rehearsal. |
