Audition: NAGs Players – One-Actmanship: Two Plays by Norm Foster (My Narrator and The Death of Me)
The NAGs Players are delighted to invite you to audition for their two Norm Foster one-act plays, directed by Dolores Maher.
My Narrator (2m and 2f) asks the question “What would happen if that tiny voice in your head took on a life of its own?” The two Narrators – Bob and Barb – watch and cringe as their misguided charges, Miles and Lacy, ignore their advice as they muddle through the ups and downs of dating.
Age range for men and women mid-twenties to mid-forties.
The Death of Me (2m and 2f) John wakes up dead, as it were, in Heaven, being greeted by the Angel of Death (she’s not scary at all). He persuades her to let him go back to earth for a short time. In spite of the title, this is one of Foster’s quirkiest plays.

Audition and Production Information
Tuesday September 17, at 7 p.m.
Tranzac Club, 292 Brunswick Avenue, Toronto.
No resumes or prepared pieces are required. The audition will consist of a cold read of the script.
Rehearsals are typically Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and Sunday afternoons.
Show dates: November 14, 15, 16 and 28, 29, 30, 7:30 p.m. on the Tranzac Stage, 292 Brunswick Avenue
