Fall 2016 Preview – The Most Anticipated Books This Season
Fall is almost upon us and this season brings with it all manner of splendid things for book lovers: The Word on the Street festival, The International Festival of Authors, a killer lineup of author readings at TPL's Bram & Bluma Appel Salon, book awards galore, and a deluge of blockbuster books.
One of the perks of being a book selector for TPL's OverDrive collection is that I get to see the list of forthcoming titles many months before the books hit the street. I am delighted to share my insider knowledge with you!
Pre-release eBooks usually appear in our OverDrive collection a week or two before their release date. This gives you a chance to reserve a copy in advance. (Puzzled about why you have to place holds on eBooks? Check out this earlier blog post.)
