Wendy says: Today we welcome a guest post by our resident Young Adult fiction expert Alice Moore, editor of the TPL Teens Summer Edition blog, presenting a roundup of the best YA books of the summer. Every year, the library's youth selection team and our TPL Teens Summer Edition team pick a wide-ranging book list to recommend to teens for their own pleasure reading in summer. We shoot for a diversity of material that reflects the many different types of readers among our youth, but we also highlight ten books by local creators or with themes relevant to Toronto – books that will reflect the experiences of Toronto creators and youth.
