Parry Hotters recommended listens: Crazy Ex-girlfriend OST seasons 1 and 2
Rachel Bloom is the mastermind behind the TV series "Crazy Ex Girlfriend" which is a series that explores unrequited love, but does so through the format of song parodies. Rachel's character "Rebecca" is someone who has a few emotional problems and she works out issues in her head through songs. These songs are usually Broadway, popular and contemporary music parodies and they are awesome.
With songs dealing with such issues as hook ups, body issues, over bearing mothers, under caring friends, and coming out of the bi-sexual closet these soundtracks are phenomenally good. All the talent on the show come mainly from Broadway and have incredible voices with amazing range.
These songs may not be for everyone and some should probably not be heard by children without paren'tal guidance, but they are hilarious and some are insanely catch. You can get season one here and season two here from the libraries streaming service Hoopla.
