Famous Retail Stores from the Past
My family and I have many fond memories of shopping at famous, former retail stores that were located along Yonge Street in Toronto. Many times, it was fun just to view Eaton's and Simpson's elaborate window displays during the holiday seasons.
It also was an annual event to go to Sam the Record Man's annual Boxing Day Sale. I can still picture the large, neon, double-disc records flashing over the store's entrance as I walked on Yonge Street.
