Money Matters Spotlight: Pat Foran |

If you are a fan of CTV News Toronto, or CTV News Canada AM, then you will be very familiar with consumer reporter Pat Foran. His segments of "Consumer Alert" are popular and educational. Mr. Foran began his broadcasting career in 1985, and since 1998 has done his consumer segments for CTV.

He is also the author of a number of books, and speaks on financial and consumer issues. As part of TPL's Money Matters series, North York Central Library is happy to welcome Mr. Foran as a speaker on Saturday, February 2, 2013. He will be discussing information from his new book The Smart, Savvy Young Consumer: How to Save and Spend Wisely. While this book is geared to consumers aged 14 to 34, many basic principles of saving and investing are also covered.
