Income tax

Soon the snow will begin to melt which means one thing; it's time to get your income tax in order! If the thought of sitting down to do your taxes fills you with dread, have no fear however – Toronto Public Library is here to help.

A team of volunteers from the Certified General Accountants of Ontario (Toronto Chapter) will be visiting the Fairview Library this spring to provide one-on-one assistance for filing your income tax as an individual or a family. Call the library at 416-395-5750 for more information or to set up an appointment!

NOTE: To qualify for this free program you must

  • Make under $25,000 as an individual or $35,000 as a family
  • Make under $1,000 in interest income
  • Be able to provide the correct documentation (T slips, previous returns, recipts, etc.). Call the library for more details about paperwork you will be expected to provide.
