In need of family vacation inspiration?

Kids worked hard during the school year, and let's face it. Paren'ts have too. It's not an easy task getting kids to school, making sure homework is done, extracurricular activities…on top of all the field trips, report cards, tutoring and the list goes on and on. But congratulations paren'ts and kids, another school year has passed! And now the whole family deserves a family vacation right?

Summer is the perfect time for family travelling because kids don't have school and the days are much longer. But, a lot of work goes into planning a vacation. Starting from WHERE to go, to HOW MUCH it'll cost, to WHAT there is to see, do and eat! 

Luckily for us, there are some great resFamilyvacationources to help us plan our travel adventures. The library has great travel guides that describe all the must-see tourist sites, the best restaurants, the comfiest hotels and more. 

Did you know that there are specially written travel guidebook series such as Frommer's With Kids? And Fodor's Family ? These family friendly travel guidebooks are specifically designed for family vacations that are fun for children of all ages!

  1. Our family used to drive to Florida for the summer. It was fun! The drive was probably not so fun for my dad though, I was the annoying kid who kept asking ‘Are we there yet’?
