Facebook’s Like Button Takes On Share Button Characteristics

February 28, 2011 | John P. | Comments (2)

Facebook has updated the "Like" button on its accounts to closely resemble a "Share" button. After clicking on the "Like" button for a story, an article or a website, a link would have previously appeared in a user's account activity. Now, with the "Like" button update, a Facebook user's profile wall will post a full story with a headline, summary and thumbnail with the option to comment on the posted article.
