The Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) searches full-text scientific and scholarly articles from Open Access journals within its directory.  It is also a directory for researchers to find the most appropriate Open Access journal to contribute to.  To be included in the DOAJ, the journal must abide by the Budapest Open Access Initiative's definition of Open Access.  DOAJ is maintained by Infrastructure Services for Open Access (IS40A) who aims to promote Open Access journals to increase their usage and impact around the world.
