Best Employers in the GTA 2011
The 2011 Best Employers by Aon Hewitt, a consulting group, in partnership with the Queen's University School of Business, recognizes the companies that offer strong employee engagement.
What exactly does this mean?
According to Neil Crawford, Aon Hewitt's study leader, "An employee who is engaged is someone who speaks positively about the organization they are working for. They express a desire to stay and contribute to the organization's success. And they are inspired and motivated by what's going on in the organization — by the leadership, culture, management — to do their best work everyday."
These people do exist and can be found at companies across Canada.
In the GTA, the number one employer is Cisco Systems, followed by:
