Looking for a job in the food service industry? Interested in being a bartender? If so, take a look at the training programs for these industries.
Food Handler Certification Program provides an opportunity for food handlers to learn about food safety. In June 2006, City Council passed a bylaw requiring Food Handler certification for Food Handlers in the food and beverage industry.
Toronto Public Health offers Food Handler Certification Courses to provide food handlers with the knowledge of safe food handling practices to prevent food-borne illness.

Smart Serve Ontario is a non-profit organization dedicated to developing and delivering a responsible service training program to all individuals who serve alcohol beverages or work where alcoholic beverages are served in the Province of Ontario.
Smart Serve training is mandatory to all servers of alcoholic beverages. The training program is available online or by DVD/Workbook.
