Emotional Intelligence: Employers are Now Looking for High EQ
Traditionally, employees were hired for their intelligence and enthusiasm. Now many large corporations are incorporating EQ testing in their hiring processes to separate "soft" or "people" skills from hard skills. This is more prevalent when they are looking for candidates for positions of higher responsibility. Nevertheless, I think that anyone can benefit from a concerted effort to improve their emotional intelligence.
