Looking for something fun for your kids this summer? Why not join the TD Summer Reading Club? This year, our "maker" theme encourages kids to play, make, share, and, of course, read.

Unsure how the Club works? Visit www.tpl.ca/readingclub to find out.

Plus, kids get some pretty neat things when they sign up. Check it out!

Pre-Reader

Pre-reader Activity Book

Children under age 5 receive this item. Most of the activities in this book are for a child to do with a paren't or caregiver.

Magazine

Magazine

Children ages 6 and up receive this item. The magazine is filled with activities, short articles, and fun facts, as well as an engaging centrefold spread.

Notebook

Notebook

ALL children receive this item. The notebook gives children space to record their summer reading. It also offers seven blank pages for kids to collect stickers, or to write, draw, or design anything they want. At the very end of the passport is a certificate that library staff can sign for a child who has completed or participated in the program.

StickersStickers

Children can visit their local library to receive a sticker, where they will usually be asked a question by library staff about the book they read. If you are unable to bring your child into the library to collect stickers, you may request that your library give you the whole sticker sheet when you register, and you can give them out at home when your child finishes reading a book or other reading materials.
