Fine-Free for Kids at TPL
Great news! Toronto Public Library is happy to announce that all outstanding overdue and holds-not-picked-up fines on children cards have been waived.
During the pandemic, we have not been charging fines on any cards, and going forward and on a permanent basis, TPL will not charge overdue fines on materials checked out on children’s cards. We don’t want overdue fines to keep your child from using all the great library resources available to them.
We invite your child to explore and experience everything that the library has to offer. Here are some of the things they can do with their library membership:
- Read all the books they want! Borrow them in branch or online
- Check out a new movie
- Get live online homework help
- Explore fun and interactive programs on our Crowdcast and YouTube channels, from after school clubs to storytimes
- And so much more!
