The Library Goes to Market!
The Fort York Branch may not be ready to open yet but on Tuesday, Oct. 8 & Tuesday, Oct. 15, staff will be attending the MyMarket Concord City Place Farmer's Market at Canoe Landing Park (more details and transit directions). We're very excited to take part in the market and what better time to check it out and find the perfect pumpkin for Halloween!
The market runs from 3:30pm to 7:30pm so please stop in and visit us at our tent for an early taste of the new library coming to this community very soon.
We'll have stories for the kids between 4pm and 6pm and demonstrations of many of the Library's electronic resources like Zinio eMagazines and Overdrive eBooks that you can access and enjoy right now, before the branch opens.
This is your last couple chances to attend this growing market and stock up on fresh locally grown fruits and veggies before the end of the season so we hope to see you there!
