Market

Every Saturday between February 6 and April 27, St. Lawrence Market
features Weekly Food Tasting and History Show, where a vendor showcases a food
or product that is available in the market place. A variety of cooking classes
is also offered.

St. Lawrence Market is the largest and oldest food market in Toronto, with
a long history that dates way back to nineteenth century. Today it is both a
place to go for grocery shoppers and a tourist attraction (have you ever seen a
store that only sells dozens and dozens of different types of…
mustard?).

The market is open every day but it is best known for its Saturday Farmers’
Market, where farmers from all across Ontario sell variety of local foods and
produce.
