Help for health professionals to get licensed in Ontario

July 27, 2011 | Janice | Comments (1)

It's a complicated process to become qualified and then licensed to practice in the more than 20 regulated health professions in Ontario. Internationally trained health professionals can get help from the Health Force Ontario Access Centre.  The HFO Access Centre can provide information, advice and support as you follow the path to professional practice in Ontario.  You must register with the Centre to begin making use of the services.    What are the regulated professions ?  Some of them are:  dentists; nurses; opticians; physiotherapists; chiropractors; pharmacists.
