  1. It’s about time, this library was seriously substandard. Hopefully, you will have more outlets for laptops as well.

  2. There is no mention of books in this news release. Will Northern District have a larger collection of books than before, or smaller?

  3. I would like to place a book on hold (it has others holds before mine) and pick it up at the Northern branch when it reopens. Will this be allowed soon….?

  4. What happens with books that we took out from the branch and are due Nov. 1st? Should we return them to the branch on the first, return them to another branch or will they be automatically renewed until the branch re-opens?

  5. Picking up holds at Northern District Branch will be reactivated once the branch reopens.
Customers are invited to place holds and pick them up at any nearby branch locations. The closest branches are Mount Pleasant Branch and Deer Park Branch.
Items borrowed from Northern District Branch that are due November 1 can be returned to any Toronto Public Library Branch.

  6. Is it true that the Northern Library will be open for the flu shot on December 3 even though it is still under renovations?
