Attacks In Paris
We are deeply saddened by the attacks in Paris, and our thoughts are with the families of the victims and the people of France.
Toronto Public Library strongly supports, defends and promotes intellectual freedom, and stands by the free press that upholds this democratic value. We take this opportunity to encourage everyone to participate in Freedom to Read Week from February 22-28, 2015. This is an annual event supported by Canada’s public libraries that encourages Canadians to think about and reaffirm their commitment to intellectual freedom.
