For sure! I'll bet you never thought to look, but many of the library's electronic databases include cartoons.

Here's an example (login with your library card and PIN required).

Here's how to do it your self:

• Visit the TPL webpage:  http://www.torontopubliclibrary.ca/
• choose Articles and Online Research
• choose A – Z list of all databases
• choose Academic OneFile
• login with your library card and PIN
• choose Advanced Search
• limit results By Document Type by
• clicking on Cartoon from the By Document Type menu
• click on Search
• from your results list, limit one more time by clicking on the checkbox with Images

This database is updated regularly but today I got 2572 results in the Magazines Tab, 495 in the News Tab, and 855 results in the Academic Journals Tab.
