The best teen romance book I've read – ever. I'm not a fan of romance (at all), but this one really reminded me of all those awkward exciting feelings of one's first love(r).
A truely tender romance of two awkward teens, who might not have found each other and ultimately helped each other if it hadn't been for cassettes and The Smiths.
Sweet sweet romance, but realisticly flawed characters that deal with real problems (abusive families, racial discrimination, poverty, etc.) and it has a pleasantly realistic ending.
Best part? SEQUEL is coming!!
