I read this book last year and it is definitely worth reading. The original concept and intense plot made it hard no to enjoy this book.
I feel as if Incarceron by Catherine Fisher really stood out to me amongst the summer read recommendations and I’m glad that I decided to give it a go. At first I was skeptical and was not sure if I would like it and I put off reading it for so long but I pushed myself into starting it and I honestly could not and would not put the book down. Not only is the concept behind the novel so unique and imaginative but add that together with a stellar detail to writing and captivating characters, you have got yourself a must read novel. Incarceron follows the epic adventure of two totally different groups of young adults as they try to escape from their own two worlds. This novel had so much depth that I felt as if I wasn’t reading about an amazing adventure but that I myself was in their world and was with them throughout which makes it so addictive and entertaining. I would definitely recommend this novel to everybody because I feel that it is just that good and that everybody has something to take from it. It is romantic, suspenseful, thrilling, and dynamic and everything you could ever ask form in a novel. Fisher was able to make such a distance and magical dimension so realistic that I was absolutely lost in the world that she created. I only wish there was a sequel because the ending has such a plot twist and cliff hanger that I closed the book with my mouth wide open and my head spinning! A must read!
