Healthy Junk Foods
Isn’t
healthy junk food an oxymoron?
It is. And you already know some foods are better than others. In my humble
opinion, however, it’s kind of a myth that all junk foods are bad for you and
to be avoided. While we still want to be healthy, we can’t give up some foods with a bad reputation. Eat this, Not That shows better- for- you versions or swaps
that you can make to your eating habit. It outlines how you can make smarter and
healthier choices without avoiding all the things you enjoy.
Here are some examples of “junk food” swaps that you can enjoy
without the guilt.
1. A Chocolate Chip for an Oatmeal Cookie
2. Regular Fried Chips for Baked Chips
3. French Fries for Sweet Potato Fries
4. A Hamburger for a Better Hamburger?
Do you consider these to be healthy or junk
foods? Can you think of any healthier junk foods??

While I do think that healthy alternatives to junk food is a good step towards healthy eating it’s not a full solution. It should be used as a stepping stone towards healthier living. Oh and some examples oh “healthier junk food” is instead of eating ice cream, you could try eating frozen yoghurt.
All these foods are still not-so-healthy foods. The alternatives are better and is a baby step towards healthy living, but still should be avoided if possible
Dried fruits and nuts instead of chocolates and gummies.
Nothing will replace meat (specifically Baconator). i think the sweet potato fries and baked chips are good alternatives to junk food.
I don’t care as long as it tastes good. When I want a treat, I want a treat.
Since you can’t really go from eating junk food all the time to just stopping immediately, I think that this would be an awesome transition. Plus the options are delicious. (A little bit doesn’t hurt) :)))
I think you need a balance. Seems to me hard to stop junk food forever. I do eat healthy but once in a while I allow myself something that is not so healthy.
