Love to eat! Love to cook? Well, believe it or not, the library's the place for you this summer! We've got a couple of great food-related events coming up in July that you should totally check out!

Cooking - Cupcakes cookies and pie oh myFirst, stop by the Cedarbrae library on July 23 for a cupcake decorating workshop, taught by an instructor from Centennial college. Participants will learn the basic techniques of cake decorating, and then get an opportunity to use the skills they learned to decorate their own cupcake! The cupcakes provided will be peanut/nut free.

This program is intended for youth aged 12 to 18. Space is limited, so please call 416-396-8850 to register or to get more info.

Food - Get JiroIf sweet isn't your thing, how about a Sushi making workshop at Barbara Frum Library? Most people experience sushi only when dining out. Come and learn the
art and technique of how to make your very own sushi rolls at the library this summer; a skill sure to wow your friends and intimidate your enemies.

This sushi course is intended for youth ages 12-18. Also, space is limited, so call 416-395-5440 to get in on all this sticky rice fun!

    Also, my sister (who’s 11) wants to go, but it says for kids ages 12-18 only. Can I still bring her, or would that be a no? o.O
