These are the opening words of this fantastic novel by Robin Wasserman. How can a book that starts off this way not be intriguing? When I picked this book up, I was intrigued by the title, and the first line definitely caught my attention.
This book has it all, friendship, young love, and heartache. Throw in a murder mystery and a lot of suspense, and you got yourself one good read.
The best part of this book for me was that it kept me guessing, and kept throwing twists and turns at me that I didn’t expect. Rarely does a book do that, but this one hit the nail right on the head. It was refreshing to read a book where I really didn’t know what to expect.
The characters were well developed, as were the relationships amongst them.
A fantastic read that I would highly recommend to all.
