Guy in Real Life

Guy In Real Life Book CoverLesh and Svetlana are complete opposites. He wears black 24/7, listens to metal, and plays Massive Multiplayer Online games. She embroiders her own skirts, listens to Björk and Berlioz, and dungeon masters her own Role-Playing Game at school. So when they accidentally collide on a dark street at two thirty in the morning, something happens. It would have made more sense if they had just picked themselves up, continued on their separate ways, and never spoken again.  But instead, two people who don’t belong in each other’s lives find each other at times when they each desperately need someone who doesn’t belong in their lives. This is a story of how we act like people we aren’t in order to find out who we really are, a story of the roles we play in our everyday lives, and of finding that one person who can show us what’s hidden underneath it all.

Check out Guy in Real Life this summer!
