You should bring back the read down your fines.
Toronto FC tickets!! Awesome!!
I definitely agree with Shavon. Including myself, I have a friend who is scared of going to library because he can’t pay his fines on his library card. It’s unfortunate because now he can’t borrow any materials for school use. I believe continuing the fine forgiveness programs such as “Read Down Your Fines” or giving “Fine Forgiveness” coupons, to those who particpate in Wordout, for example, would help attract cash-strapped teenagers who love to read back into supporting their public library system.
On a separate but related note, the Vaughan Public Libraries have a fine forgiveness program. During their annual holiday food drive, they can bring a non-perishable food item (e.g. a can of tuna or a pack of pasta) and their fines are reduced. In this way, the patrons and staff of the libraries in Vaughan are showing their support for local food banks. And it is not limited to the teenagers either. Kudos to the Vaughan Public Libraries.

You should have more authors coming to the library to do programs to keeps entertain, some Toronto tickets, better prizes, better books, maybe have a book talk on their favorite things
Thanks all for your feedback!
