Cliff Hanger
They stared at each other, eyes full of longing.
“We have to do it”. He says. She nods.
“Yes.”
They slowly approach the castle, looming in the darkness.
They pulled out their weapons.
The girl pulled leaves and dirt out of her hair as they walked. She was nervous.
Who wouldn’t be?
The boy. His sword glistened in the darkness, masking his
evil smirk.
“Wait.” He stopped so suddenly that the girl smacked into
his back. He cursed.
“The doors are locked.” She blurt out.
“No, I had no idea.” He said sarcastically. “We have to
climb though the window.”
She cursed under her breath.
In a flash, the door opened, and a figure stepped
out. The girl screamed
