Beaches Jazz Festival
The Beaches Jazz Festival continues this weekend with the Streetfest and multiple artists performing at Kew Gardens.
It starts on the 24th and goes the entire weekend. If the festival is anywhere as good as it was last year it should not be missed. Even if you aren’t a fan of jazz the streetfest should not be missed. The Streetfest every year is located perfectly, a five minute walk from the beach and takes up a huge street. Every year this is one of the most fun events and is always filled with great entertainment. There’s great food by a random assortment of vendors as well as the different restaurants in the area. The music is always wonderful, from professional musicians to people who just have a passion for the music (last year I remember a group of firefighters who got into it) and it’s not about snooty music elites it’s al about the fun. The people are great, the view is wonderful (the beach is a short walk and the CN Tower is in eye’s sight), and the food is delicious.
So, I say to you, whether or not you are a fan of jazz you are guaranteed to have fun and enjoy some good music.
