A vicious hack, a gentle tap
Maneuver with my one side flat
Sweaty hands clutch onto me
like nothing else could block the wrath
Nails dig in, sharp, like vengeance
and off I’m up speeding above turf
for revenge, and an anticipated lurch
Slam! I’m down on the ground
ready to block the deadly send.
