Multilingual Articles in Wikipedia

A new feature of the wikipedia (www.wikipedia.org) allows you to see parallel  articles in different languages. The articles will appear only if they have been composed  in the wikipedia's versions of itself in other languages. These are not translations from English into other languages.

I am interested in library history, so in the search box of the English version of the Wikipedia I typed  "Carnegie libraries." Here's the resulting link:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carnegie_libraries

The article is remarkable in that it shows architectural styles that vary from the ones I knew as Carnegie libraries. Interestingly also, there are articles about Carnegie libraries (at left) as they appear in multilingual versions of the wikipedia. Compare their content with that of the article in English.
