If you’ve walked into a library lately, you’re sure to have noticed tons of information about the TD Summer Reading Club.  An annual program, the SRC is designed to get kids reading throughout the summer months with a variety of programs, activities and more. This year, along with traditional prizes, story times and book-reporting opportunities, the SRC has a great online component.

Collect all 9 Stickers and Codes!
Each child registered with the SRC is awarded a sticker for every book he or she reads this summer, right up to the ninth book. The stickers alone are fun to collect, but if you look closer, you’ll notice a series of letters and numbers on each sticker. This is an online code that can be entered online at the TD Summer Reading Club website to unlock even more surprises!

There are also a number of online activities for your child to take part in, including creating a silly story and learning to draw with artist Dušan Petričić.

If your child, or an interested child you know, has not yet registered for the TD Summer Reading Club, there is still time! Ask a librarian at your local branch for more information on how to get started, both in-branch and online!
