Whether you are a student in need of tutoring or someone who is just interested in learning and expanding your knowledge, the Khan Academy has something for you!

Established in 2006 by American educator Salman Khan, the website provides free video tutorials on a variety of subjects including mathematics, physics, science and the humanities.

In addition to over 3900 video tutorials on a wide-range of subjects, the website also offers many unique features for students, teachers, paren'ts and coaches. For instance, students can set up a custom profile to track their progress, and teachers can create a class report that outlines the entire class’s progress as well as areas where students are struggling. There is also a wide range of automated exercises (mainly in Math) that can be used to practice and improve on what has been learned through the video tutorial.

Each video tutorial is around ten minutes in length, and includes step-by-step visual and verbal instruction.  Although the majority of video tutorials are from the mathematics and science fields of study, the collection of videos from the humanities and social sciences is still quite impressive.
