Summer Health & Wellness Reads

Recently, I took a health book to read on my vacation. I had enjoyed Siddhartha Mukherjee's Pulitzer Prize-winning The Emperor of All Maladies: A Biography of Cancer and was looking forward to his latest book The Gene: An Intimate History. Well, let me tell you that reading a 592 page tome at the beach is no easy feat, no matter how interesting the subject matter and well-written it is. Don't get me wrong — I highly recommend both books for non-beach reading and I plan to hear Mukherjee's talk at the Toronto Reference Library on October 17, 2016.

I found some interesting health and wellness titles that are easier to read and less than 600 pages. Many of them are available as e-audiobooks. Happy reading!
