Looseleaf publications

The Business Department at North York Central Library has a law
collection that includes loose leaf publications that cover a variety of areas of law.  Loose leaf publications are updated on a continual basis so that the information stays more current than a book. Many of these publications are geared to small business.  Here is a sampling of some of the titles that could assist no matter what stage you are at in your business:

Business Legal Advisor : This how-to guide to business transactions includes information on planning and preparation of
supporting documents. It also features commentary, materials and precedents
covering : buying and selling a business, family trust,  shareholders, buy-sell agreements, tax
implications of a business purchase/sale, incorporation, executive
compensation, employment law,  reference to pertinent sections of the Income
Tax Act
and Interpretation Bulletins. It also includes an extensive number
of forms.

PaySource : This
service is an authoritative source for answers to payroll questions.
