The Marilyn & Charles Baillie Special Collections Centre Opens
The Marilyn & Charles Baillie Special Collections Centre is now open to the public. The stunning rotunda on the 5th floor of the Toronto Reference Library represents the jewel in the crown of the revitalization of the Library.
Drop by to view the reading room, with its shelf lined mezzanine, and custom designed furniture,
or step into the past in our new Arthur Conan Doyle Room, where it is always 1893.
The project was completed with the generous support of Marilyn & Charles Baillie, the Metcalf Family in honour of Justice Robert F. Reid, Cliff & Doris Goldfarb, and the Friends of the Arthur Conan Doyle Collection.

Wonderful news! Can’t wait to visit the new space.
Grieving the silent passing of the Baldwin Room — much loved, never forgotten. Deserved better.
Stay tuned! We’re still working on the finishing touches — which include displaying some of the fine works of art from the Baldwin Room Collection.
