I remember reading “Safe as Houses” when I was younger, and I loved it.
Just Deserts was fantastic.
I saw him talk this spring and he is an incredible ball of energy – and has about a thousand interests he shares, complete with pictures. Some authors are not so interesting in person – he is fantastic to watch talking, and brings his audience into his presentation a lot, too.
I have liked everything I hve read my him. He and Kenneth Oppel pretty much made my tweenhood where I was too old for kids books and too young for adult reads.
He is one of my favorites! I love his books
