Edited by Tavi Gevinson

Appearing online in 2011, Rookie Magazine has quickly become one of the most influential web magazines to look at youth culture, music, fashion and identity.

Founded by style provocateur Tavi Gevinson, Rookie collects articles, essays playlists and interviews from a who’s who of the trendiest pop culture figures around. Despite being an American magazine, Its also full of some pretty rad Canadian content – if you look closely, you can find awesome spreads of the art of Montreal’s Claire Boucher (aka Grimes) and fashion photo shoots in places like Toronto’s Regent’s Park.

Rookie Yearbook Two is an anthology of the best of Rookie Mag from 2012/13, curated by Tavi. It’s the kind of book you can read cover to cover, or just open at a random page to find something inspirational.
