Mithika reviewed Gone by Lisa McMann
This is the third installment in the Wake Series (Wake, Fade & Gone). The book was quite anticipated among the lovers of this series.
I found it rather disappointing to be honest. The wait made it much greater as it was the ending but a lot more was expected for such a huge plot.
I loved Wake because it was fantastic and it got me hooked on the entire series but Fade was slow to start and finish.
Gone was good and intriguing. The story of Caleb and Janie kept you on your seat but the end didn't make it feel complete.
I don't want to ruin it but the end was quite a shock.
The plot of Janie's paren'ts and their consistent turmoil made the story a bit slow, but if you loved the first book you must read the last.
Just don't expect to much (like I did) because you might be disappointed.

i completly agree with you. Gone wasn’t as great as the first or second but i felt that i HAD to read it just to finish the series.

Really? Now I definitely want to try reading Gone, especially since everyone that have read them compliments the series.
