Gabbi reviewed Blast From the Past by Meg Cabot
In this Allie Finkle novel, Allie and her friends from Pine Heights go on a field trip to a pioneer village. The catch? Their class has to share a bus with Allie's old fourth grade class. Which means Allie has to share her first ride on a school bus with her ex-best friend Mary-Kay. On the way to the village, a kid name Joey was being picked on. Allie was trying to help him by telling the other kids to stop. But that only made it worse. They started to pick on Allie too! they sang that K-I-S-S-I-N-G song about them. Allie was sure that is was going to be a bad day. But I don't exactly wanna tell you the whole plot so I'm going to leave it at that…… READ THE BOOK!!!!!
Pallavi reviewed The Chamber of Shadows by Justin Richards
I read the book "The chamber of Shadows" written by Justin Richards. This is a wonderful book filled with suspense and with surprises at every turn. The book takes place in 1886 and starts out by a man being murdered by a feared murderer in town known as "The Tick-Tock killer" .
While this tick-tock killer strikes fear in the town, a wall is unearthed in a dig of the deepest hole ever on the planet Earth. The people digging hand the case over to "̃The Department of Unclassified artefacts" in which Sir William and George break through the wall and discover a tomb of a king, possibly named Magnanimus. Although sure that this tomb was built and even closed off over thousands of years ago, the body in the tomb only seemed to be a few months old at the most. Sir Williams and George investigate the tomb, until the lead of the dig strangely orders to stop the dig and close up the wall again. On the other hand, Eddie is determined to catch this tick-tock killer with the help of his friends.
Could the two, the tick-tock killer and the discovery of the tomb, somehow be linked?
With George suddenly gone missing and with these "tick-tock soldiers" kidnapping people, can'the case be solved?
Has the king, who was dead for over thousands of years, come back to rule the world once again?
With the find of a book that reveals the darkest of secrets, can evil be stopped from ruling again?

Blast from the Past sounds sounds Amazing. The main character, Allie relates to me because I kind of feel to stand up for people but then I’m afraid Ill get picked on. I ‘ll have to read the book to find out how Allie solves this problem.
The Chamber of Shadows reminds me of a book I read recently. About crimes and how they were solved. This would be a great book to add on my list.:P
I love Meg Cabot and I haven’t read a book my her that I haven’t liked. I’ve read about 11 of her books.
Blast From The Past is probably an interesting read.
I’m wondering if the Chamber of Shadows is based off any factual information. Either way, i’m planning on reading it!
on second thought…the cover looks really scary
lol, its not that scary, trust me. Its just not what you expect or should I say it’s not who you expect it to be! Omg, i don’t want to give anything away!
