Free video workshops in July

Want to make a video book review but not sure how to get started?  The library is running several free video-making workshops in July at a few different branches, in collaboration with Pro-Tech Media Lab and Delisle Youth Services.

Check out the full list for details.  Registration is required and space is limited, so get in touch with one of the branches soon if you're interested.

  1. These workshops should be lots of fun. There is one in the East end, West and and Central Toronto. Everyone should be able to find one that is not too far!

  2. The workshops are a really cool opportunity to learn some neat video making and editing tricks, and enter weeekly draws for awesome prizes!

  3. Thanks for the kind words Darsiga! I miss working at ACD, as I had a blast working with the YAG there. Naomi is a great YAG leader and actually has a somewhat similar style to myself, so I am sure that the YAG is in good hands 🙂 Take care!

  4. I guess Kennedy/Eglinton is the nearest one to me…I’ll drag my friend along! Though I hope they would have one up north around Agincourt or Fairview…?

  5. ya! we should!
but the last time i went to that kennedy and eglinton library
    it opened late
so i wonder when it opens :l
and what time we have to be there

  6. Oh, that sucks then! Does anyone now, what time and the date is the workshop, at the Kennedy and Eglintion library? (:

  7. You should come visit us now! Our garden at ACD is beautiful! Thanks to Naomi, and the gardners. (:

  8. The Kennedy-Eglinton workshop is from 1-4 PM on July 19, according to the latest info I have. If you click on the “full list” link I’ve got in the original post that will run a search on our main website to show all the video-making programs, their locations, and their times.

  9. My wife has a relative in the area, so I may stop by one day to check out the library after all this time.
I’m sure you guys have done a great job on the garden, it was looking up when I left thanks to all of the effort yourself and the ACD YAG put into it! 🙂

  10. I think they should make more workshops available for other branches as well, but this is a great idea.

  11. I wish I could go! I’m out of the province though, so I don’t think I’ll be able to make it…
