Alex reviewed Duchessina – By: Carolyn Meyer

Catherine De Medici is a duchess and the only heir to her family's fortune. You would think she has a great life, but no.  Catherine's paren'ts died when she was very young (so young she can't remember them) and the people hate the Medici so Catherine is sent to a convent where she hides from the world.
Her life could not get any worse, but it does. After many deaths of the people closest to her, she marries a man who does not love her. Read more in Duchessina by Carolyn Meyer.
The surprising thing is that this story is true. It's a really exiting book with unexpected twists and turns that make it one of the best of the many books I've burned through.

Kent reviewed Scorpia Rising – By: Anthony Horowitz

This is the final book to the exciting series of Alex Rider. In total there were 9 books in the whole series which started off with Stormbreaker. In this book MI6 finally leaves Alex alone after his final mission that ended with the death of Alex's guardian Jack Starbright. It starts off with the head of the group Scorpia meeting a rich Greek guy who wants a British museum artifact returned  back to Greek since it the artifact was originally the Greeks. So then it goes on that Scorpia puts a plan into place that benefits both Scorpia and the Greek man. The plan was to threaten the British government into returning the artifact by revealing the truth behind MI6 hiring a teenager. And that person is obviously Alex Rider, but also at the same time Scorpia wanted Alex dead because he ruined their plans twice. In the end Alex survived but became a different person and he went to live with Sabrina and her family. I would recommend this book to people who have read the whole series up to the previous book, Crocodile Tears. Also I would recommend this series to those who like action and adventure. Also themes such as secrecy and spying. It will bring the reader to thinking many things and keeps the reader on edge since it keeps making the reader think whats going to happen next. Have fun reading this series/final book!
